To make 3 long stories short… We (Unchained Rhythm) were used by God in three miracles this afternoon!
As we went to a new town today we met an elderly woman, Kotie. She invited us to her home. There we learned that she has already undergone three surgeries. But now she is in need of a fourth, due to constant burning pain in her ankle, but she does not have the money. We were able to pray for healing over her ankle. After we laid hands on her and prayed she told us that the pain had subsided some! We will be going back to pray over her again and provide food for her and her grown children and their families. Today we were able to bless each of the kids with a warm winter hat!
Kotie’s Family!
After visiting Kotie and her family we only had about 10 minutes until our bus would come to take us home. But God had more for us to do in this town! We walked up another street and met a woman who was very excited to see us because she had been praying for people to come pray over her mother Katalina!
Katalina was laid up in bed sick. She was pale, week, and could barely sit up. Her feet were splotchy purple due to an irregular heart issue keeping the blood from circulating correctly. Lauren said that as she prayed she was watching the splotches on Katalina’s feet disappear. We were able to praise God for the miracle of healing as Katalina’s strength returned and she was able to get up out of bed and walk around without even shaking! She told us that she was feeling better!!!
This is Katalina!
She was smiling and happy, but for photo’s ppl around here always put on a straight face???
The family had gathered around as we sang and prayed and shared scriptures in Katalina’s home. Another woman, Clara from next door, was hobbling around with a cane, grimacing in pain. As we prayed over her I felt the spirit inside of me confirming the fact that she would walk free of the cane and the pain. Ashley also felt the same thing and we wanted to see her stand up! We had her sitting down on a bed, but after we were finished praying I took her hands and pulled her up proclaiming healing in Jesus name. She stood straight (whereas before her back was almost doubled over) and she held her cane under her arm, not needing it to keep the weight off her bad ankle!
Amanda, Clara and Lauren.
The reality of what had happened was almost too much for me to grasp at first! But it began sinking in; we had just witnessed two miracles! God had answered our prayers for healing! We sang and lifted up prayers of thanksgiving. The entire household was full of joy and we were sooo excited to have been sent by God in answer to this family’s prayer! We serve a mighty, awesome, loving God!!!
As if all that wasn’t enough, our Daddy had more surprises for us! Praying over Clara and Katalina had taken a good bit of time and we’d missed the last bus of the day. We began to walk and pray for God to provide another way. I heard Kaitlyn praying something like “Daddy, you’ve been so good to us and already answered so many of our prayers today, but we really need a bus to take us home”. It was probably like 20* out, and to walk would have taken us over two hours. As soon as Kaitlyn’s prayers ended a school bus rolled up the road. But Zsomber informed us that school buses are not allowed to pick up randoms. But remember my friend, there’s nothing impossible for our God! On that school bus we got a ride back to our town, and on top of that, the driver would not even accept any money! Oh and did I mention that earlier the bus we had hailed into town does not normally go there, but they made a special trip for us!!
There is no way all of this was coincidence and human efforts! It is clear that God had a plan for us today and He was making sure we got were we needed to be and met the people He wanted to pour blessing out on! Nothing else could explain what we saw GOD do today! Only the name of Jesus has the power to heal! I’m so glad that I personally know this powerful Jesus! In fact He is the love of my life! And every day He shows me just how much more amazing He truly is!
I hope that if you have read this blog you have been freshly blown away by God! I hope that, if you have not already, you will surrender your life to the King of the Universe and praise the Holy name of our God!
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Together let us thank Jesus again for bearing our sins and through his death paying the penalty for them. It is only through his love and shed blood that we can enjoy a relationship with this amazing God!
Two of the children we were able to give hats to!
I wish i could have captured little green hat guys face as soon as I handed him the hat! It was priceless, he was so excited!
