I have been placed on a new team, for the month, with four amazing, beautiful, godly women. There is our mighty leader, and one of my crazy bungee jumping companions, Jenna Harvey :). My fellow home-schooled chick, Ruth Cortese. The brainwashing genius, and just plain genius (accepted to Harvard but attending grad school at princeton), Angela Renee, And last but not least a co-minion (inside joke) and amazing godly example Linsey Thomas.

As our name suggests, we are in Thailand to un-tie the captives in the sex industry. Although the girls we are working with are physically free to leave the bars, they are trapped by the lie that they deserve no better. Through SHE ministries we are offering better jobs to the women who work as bar girls and sell their bodies for a living. SHE offers free English lessons, hotel management schooling, and jewelry making to any women who wants freedom from prostitution. It breaks my heart to think that these girls sell themselves soo short. They want true love, yet all they get is lustful attention. To any women reading this blog: Respect yourself! Dress and conduct yourself to please the Lord and not to attract the eyes of lustful men. If a man is first drawn to your body and not to your heart he will leave you hurt and alone. Do not sell yourself short! Find your true love, Jesus Christ! Feel His eyes of delight when He looks on you the way he created you and sees your inner beauty!
