If the devil’s in the way we will roll right over him!

Roll the gospel chariot along

Ba ba ba

Roll the gospel chariot along

Good ol’ Christian kids song. Often times those songs, that we think are only for little kids, hold some deep truths!

The devil is ALWAYS trying to get in the way of the spread of the gospel! But he’s nothing but road bacon, aka: Dead, dried up, animals, squashed on the road.

The devil HAS powers, no doubt about it. But with the LORD JESUS as driver of our train we can ROLL RIGHT OVER HIM!!!

Never in our OWN strength.

Never by our OWN wisdom or ways.

NEVER by compromise or peace treaty.

ONLY by hard nosed non conformity.

ONLY JESUS, ONLY GODS WAY!

I’m going back to my home sweet home in a few short weeks. My 11 month missionary journey is almost over. I’ve grown so much. I’m pumped about going home a changed woman, free from the sins of my past and more empowered to live a life for Christ.

The devil does not like this.

The devil wants to stop me or at least slow me down.

The devil is in front of this gospel chariot, which is me.

Old Lucifer is at it with what he does best, lie, deceive, and destroy. He knows the lies that I’d believed for far too long from an early age up. Now desperately with renewed energy, he is attempting to trip me up with those same lies and drag me back down.

But Lucifer, you ARE DEFEATED!!

I call you a LIAR.

I’ve chosen my side.

I know my calling.

I have been set free from that!

God has been speaking to me and showing me things like crazy.

Last night I asked my team to keep me accountable and shared how the devil has been trying to tempt me. As always, they spoke Gods truth and encouraged me and prayed over me. As they prayed I sobbed.

God I don’t deserve this!

I don’t deserve ANY of this!

Why ARE you so good to me!

I surrender ALL to YOU!

Give me more of you.

I say yes to everything that you have for me.

Where ever you send me, whatever you tell me, however you change me, whenever you need me.

Yes, Yes, Yes.

I wrote this blog back in June of 2012, but never posted it.

Now five years later I stumbled upon this in a lost computer folder, and was taught by myself. I can’t say I’ve consistently “rolled along” in the power of God. But I can say I’ve been freshly reminded to do so from the whisper of my past words.
